Gopher Control
Get the Janus Advantage Over Gophers
Dirt mounds in your yard may indicate gopher activity. Or possibly ground squirrels, maybe moles but seldom, voles.
The sod-awful truth: an estimated sixty gophers can occupy a one-acre parcel—suggesting the average yard may have roughly ten gophers doing you dirty. Hold your ground and get the home-turf advantage—ask about our EPA approved CO¹ burrow fumigation.

ProTip: Mound Identification
Pest remediation starts with identification…
More Info
Pest remediation starts with identification.
Here are a few tips to help identify what is causing damage to your yard:
Gophers
Gopher mounds are typically horseshoe-shaped piles of loose earth, typically around 1 foot across, and the burrow entrance is closed.
Ground Squirrels
Ground squirrels burrow entrances tend to have more dirt around them than gophers, and the burrow entrance is open (unplugged) and roughy softball-sized.
Moles
Mole mounds are conically shaped with closed burrow entrances. Moles may also form meandering raised ridges above their tunnels–crackled in appearance and about four inches wide.
Voles
Voles do not create dirt mounds. Their burrow entrances are open (unplugged) and about 1.5 inches in diameter.
